The Goal

  • To grow the retailer’s customer base & improve online sales through Facebook advertising.

Strategy

  • Ran separate brand awareness campaign optimized for reach to attract new people into the sales funnel & excluded existing customers from this campaign to avoid duplication.
  • Then retargeted those that engaged with our ads but hadn’t converted with conversion optimised ads.
  • Ran Facebook Dynamic Ads & set up a Catalog Feed with Product Sets reflecting the product categories on the website.
  • Applied Offer Overlays to promote the limited time deals / discounts.
  • Set up Instant Experiences for the best performing products & linked them to website conversions campaign.

The Stats

  • The catalog campaign (dynamic ads) contributed 62% of the lift in revenue and 51% of new user registrations on the site.
  • With only 48% more spend in September 2018 compared to August 2018, the Facebook campaigns achieved:
